The Statistical Visual Computing Lab invites applications for a post-doctoral research position. The expected length of the appointment is one year, with possibility of renewal. Applications be considered until the position is filled. Candidates are expected to have a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas. Demonstrated experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning is required. In particular, the candidates are expected to have published in the major conferencences and journals in these areas, namely CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, JMLR, PAMI, or TIP. The candidates should also have experience with deep learning, and strong analytical abilities. The Statistical Visual Computing Lab invites applications for summer internships for the year of 2006. These positions are available only for undergraduates living in the USA, preferably from within UCSD. The internship will include a component of data collection and a component of computer programming. Students are expected to be independent, and skilled computer programmers.
