Zhaowei Cai |
Brief Biography |
I am currently a final year PhD student at Statistical Visual Computing Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, San Diego (UCSD), under the supervision of Prof. Nuno Vasconcelos. I received my B.S. in Automation from Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China in June 2011. |
Research |
My research interests are mainly in computer vision and machine learning. Specifically, I am currently focusing on real-time object detection (e.g., pedestrian detection, vehicle detection, general object detection, etc.) and deep learning, and their applications. |
